Campbell Springs Farm - Driving Directions

Campers can stay at Pocahontas State Park, which is a ten minute drive from our farm. They have water and electric hook-up, showers and plenty of other activities. The current overnight price is $27.00. For more information about the park call 1-800-933-PARK

Out of town guests of CSF may wish to take advantage of the special rates we have secured with the Holiday Inn Express on Hull Street. in Midlothian. The rooms range in price from $99-$119. A hot breakfast is included in the pricing. The hotel is located about 15 minutes away from the farm. There are several good restaurants, a movie theater, and shopping in the area around the hotel. Please ask for Mary the manager or Charlie the asst. manager to secure our rates. The contact info for the hotel is below.

Driving Directions

From Points South – North Carolina I85

I85 N to Exit 63B (Rte.1 North, Boydton Plank Road)
Go 1.2 miles to traffic light.
Turn Left onto Rte. 226 West, Cox Road
Go 0.2 of a mile to traffic light.
Turn Right onto Rte. 600 toward Lake Chesdin (Ferndale Road, which will become Pickett Avenue)
Caution: Do not turn onto the River Road on the Dinwiddie side of the river.
Go 1.7 miles (you will cross a bridge over the Appomattox River, entering Chesterfield County) to Stop sign.
Turn Left onto River Road, Rte. 602 West.
Go 11.7 miles to 12830 River Road on Right.

From Points West – Virginia Rte. 360 East

360 E to Winterpock Road.
Right onto Winterpock Road.
Go approx. 3 miles to Crump Store (4-way Stop).
Turn Left onto Beach Road.
Go ¼ mile to fork, bear Right onto Riverway Road.
Go 2.5 miles to Stop sign.
Bear Left onto River Road.
Go 1.5 miles to 12830 River Road on Left.

From Points West - West I64, Goochland, Mankin-Sabot, Charlottesville

64E to Exit 175, 288 South to Chesterfield
Go 18.4 miles to Rt. 360 (Hull Street) towards Amelia
Go 2.6 miles on Hull Street, turn LEFT onto Winterpock (at Lowe’s)
Go 2.9 miles, turn LEFT onto Beach Rd. (at gas station)
Go .4 mile on Beach, take a wide RIGHT turn onto Riverway (this is a road fork in the road on which you will bear right)
Go 2.5 miles, take a wide LEFT turn onto River Rd.
Go 1.3 miles on River Rd.
the CSF North Barn Drive is a gravel drive on the LEFT. The CSF South Barn, and Office entrance is just a little further on the left, at the stone entryway.

From Richmond – Chippenham Hospital area

Chippenham Parkway South 5 miles.
Take 1^st Rt.10 exit (Ironbridge Road toward Chesterfield).
Go 5.5 miles to traffic light. (BB&T Bank on the corner, Chesterfield Police on Left.)
Turn Right onto Beach Road.
Go 7 miles.
Turn Left onto Second Branch Road.
Go 2 miles to stop sign.
Turn Left onto River Road.
Go 1 mile.
12830 River Road on Left.

From Richmond - Midlothian area:

Rte. 60 to Courthouse Road.
Take Courthouse Rd. across 360, to third stop light.
Turn Right onto Qualla Road.
Go five miles to Stop sign.
Turn Right onto Beach Road.
Go one block, Turn Left onto Second Branch Road.
Go two miles to stop sign.
Turn Left onto River Road.
Go one mile to 12830 River Road.

From Interstate-64 near the City of Richmond

I64 East into Richmond, take Powhite Parkway exit.
Go approx. 4 miles.
Cross James River Bridge (.50 toll).
Take first Left exit ( ½ mile after toll) 150 S, Chippenham Parkway.
Go five miles.
Take Rte.10 East exit (toward Chesterfield), Ironbridge Road.
Go five miles.
At traffic light intersection of Ironbridge & Beach Road, turn Right onto Beach Road.
(BB&T Bank on Right, Chesterfield Police Station on Left)
Go seven miles.
Turn Left onto Second Branch Road.
Go two miles to stop sign.
Turn Left onto River Road.
Go one mile to 12830 River Road on Left.
